This district was absolutely fabulous. We strolled around for a bit, absorbing all of the impressions around us. Then we had dinner at this tiny restaurant, which I unfortunately forgot to write down the name of, where I ordered a delicious plate of fried garden vegetables, focaccia bread and a light red wine. We sat there for hours, looking at busy tourists, locals and dogs (the restaurant had a bowl of water for thirsty dogs; Italians are far more dog friendly than we are in Norway!). It was truly an unforgettable evening, the image you get when you imagine dining in Bella Roma.
